Romantic Aruba Honeymoon Guide: Where to Stay, What to Do & More
We didn’t go on our honeymoon yet—but if we were planning one, this is exactly how we’d do it. Living here, we get to experience the island in a way most visitors don’t. We know the quiet beaches, the romantic dinner spots, and the best ways to slow down and enjoy every moment together. Whether you’re dreaming of adventure, total relaxation, or a little of both, this guide will help you plan a honeymoon that actually feels like you.
Where to Stay: Romantic Resorts & Private Hideaways
If you want a place that feels like your own little bubble, go for a resort or boutique stay that prioritizes privacy and calm. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is a favorite for couples—it’s adults-only, right on Eagle Beach, and the service is spot-on without being over the top.
If you prefer something more low-key and personal, there are some beautiful vacation rentals and boutique hotels tucked away from the busier areas. Think ocean views, private plunge pools, and breakfast on your own terrace.
What to Do: Just the Right Amount of Adventure
One of the best things about Aruba is how easy it is to switch between total relaxation and fun adventures. If we were planning a honeymoon, we’d start with a sunset catamaran cruise—you get the breeze, the views, and maybe a glass of prosecco (or two). For something more hands-on, you can’t beat a UTV tour through the desert side of the island. It’s a little wild, a lot of fun, and totally different from the beach scene.
On the slower side, we always recommend Mangel Halto. It’s peaceful, great for snorkeling, and one of those places where time just slows down.

Capture the Moment: Book a Honeymoon Photoshoot
If there’s one thing we always recommend, it’s booking a professional photoshoot. Aruba is ridiculously photogenic, and a honeymoon is the perfect excuse to capture it all.
Our top recommendation as a photographer is Shots By Beau. Check out her Instagram which showcases a beautiful portfolio and professionalism: instagram.com/shotsbybeau. Interested? Send her a DM. How easy can it be, right?
You can also visit her website at shotsbybeau.com or email directly to shotsbybeau@outlook.com.
No awkward poses—just real, candid moments in beautiful places. She’ll take you to the kind of scenic spots and make the whole thing feel natural and fun. It’s honestly one of the best things you can do to take a piece of Aruba home with you.
Where to Eat: Candlelit Dinners & Casual Finds
We’ve tried a lot of spots around the island, and a few stand out for that romantic, “let’s stay here forever” kind of energy. Flying Fishbone is unforgettable—you dine right in the water with the sunset lighting everything up. Another great one is Barefoot, where tables are set in the sand under palm trees and string lights.
It doesn’t have to be fancy every night. Aruba has plenty of casual beach bars with killer seafood and chilled wine. Mix it up: one romantic dinner, one toes-in-the-sand lunch, one late-night snack stop after beach hopping.

Slow Down & Soak It All In
t’s easy to fill your days with plans, but don’t forget to do… nothing. Grab a drink, find a quiet beach, and just be. Aruba has that calm energy that makes you want to pause, breathe, and enjoy the person you’re with.
